Can I sell this on Amazon in each marketplace?
Pick a product category and the Amazon marketplaces you want to sell in. You get, per marketplace, whether Amazon lists the category as open or restricted, with the source page and the date we last checked it.
Amazon publishes category tables on its public selling pages for Amazon.com (United States), Amazon.co.uk (United Kingdom), Amazon.co.jp (Japan) only in part or in full; for the other marketplaces the restriction details sit behind the Seller Central login, so we show them as Unknown instead of guessing. Today 26% of the 304 category-by-marketplace answers are covered by a public primary source.
What this checker does and does not tell you
- Open means Amazon lists the category as having no category-level restriction. A specific product, brand or sub-category can still need approval.
- Restricted means Amazon lists the category as restricted or as commonly requiring approval. Required documents are published only inside Seller Central, so we do not list them.
- Unknown means No public primary source states it. Check Seller Central.
